Dr. Koopman's Profile

Hi! I'm Dr. Kathy Koopman. I've been with Frey Pet Hospital since September, 1996. Prior to that, I practiced Veterinary Medicine in Arizona for five years. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1991.
I enjoy all aspects of small animal practice, especially internal medicine and dermatology. I love spending quality time with my pets, which include our dog and cat. I am happy to be back in the Midwest where my husband, Jack, my daughter and I can frequently visit our families in Postville and Guttenberg. It is in those towns where we can also enjoy our hobbies of boating and water-skiing.
